Weekly Performance Report
The Weekly Performance Report is an email sent every Saturday morning. It provides a comprehensive review of the past week's trading activity, including strategy-level metrics and — if a broker is connected — your live portfolio performance.

Report Contents
Week Summary
A high-level overview of the week:
- Signals generated — total entries and exits across all strategies
- Trades closed — number of positions opened and closed within the week
- Gross P&L — sum of all closed trade returns (in % and absolute terms if broker connected)
- Hit rate — percentage of closed trades that were profitable
Strategy Breakdown
A per-strategy table showing each strategy's contribution for the week:

Closed Trades Detail
A full list of all trades closed during the week:
- Ticker and strategy
- Entry date and exit date
- Entry price and exit price
- Return (%)
- Exit reason (stop, target, max bars, trailing stop, etc.)
Open Positions Carried Forward
Any positions that remain open going into the following week:
- Ticker and strategy
- Entry date and current unrealized P&L
- Days held
Live Portfolio Performance (Broker Connected)
If you have Alpaca connected, the report includes your actual portfolio performance alongside the signal performance:
- Portfolio value at start and end of week
- Net change (absolute and %)
- Comparison to NDX-100 weekly return
- Largest individual position winners and losers
Live portfolio data is currently supported for Alpaca connections. IBKR and Tradier portfolio data is not yet included in the weekly report.
Key Metrics Explained
Hit Rate
Hit Rate = (Profitable Closed Trades) ÷ (Total Closed Trades) × 100A hit rate of 60% means 6 out of 10 closed trades were profitable. Hit rate alone is not sufficient — a strategy can be profitable with a hit rate below 50% if winners are larger than losers (see Profit Factor).
Profit Factor
Profit Factor = Gross Profit ÷ Gross LossA Profit Factor above 1.0 means the strategy generated more gross profit than gross loss. A Profit Factor of 1.5 means $1.50 earned for every $1.00 lost. Values below 1.0 indicate net losses.
Enabling the Weekly Report
- Log in to platform.ordertune.com (opens in a new tab)
- Open Settings (gear icon, top right)
- Go to the Notifications tab
- Toggle Weekly Performance Report on
