The daily summary
One email after the close, on days you actually did something. It is the only route by which an execution is reported to you, so it is built to answer three questions without a follow-up: which account, what went through, and what did not.
When it arrives
It is sent at 20:30 UTC — half an hour after the US close — and usually lands a few minutes later.
No email on a day with nothing to report. You get it if you released something, or if something executed. Both count, and either is enough. That is also why it stays away at weekends and on market holidays, without anyone maintaining a holiday calendar.
If you expected a summary and none came, the first question is not "did the mail fail" but "did anything happen". A quiet day looks exactly like a quiet day.
What is in it
Which account. Not the broker's name — the account identity, so a paper and a live account can never be confused for one another. If you have more than one connected, each is listed separately.
What executed. The orders that reached a terminal state in the last 24 hours: symbol, side, quantity, price.
What did not. Orders that were released and did not go through, with the reason. This half is the point of the email — a fill you can see in your broker account, a non-fill you cannot.
How completely we could read the account. If the connection was only partly readable during the day, the email says so instead of presenting a possibly incomplete list as a complete one.
What is not in it
- No signal list. New entries and exits are on your dashboard, not in this email. This is a report about your orders, not about the model.
- No Basket CSV. You export the Basket CSV yourself from Order Management when you want it.
- No orders that did not go through us. Trades you placed yourself in Trader Workstation stay out. At Interactive Brokers this mostly means currency conversions, which would otherwise show up as a line like "SELL 1.63 EUR" in a list of equities.
Turning it off
Settings → Notifications (opens in a new tab) on t1.ordertune.com. It is on by default.
Switching it off means no execution is reported to you by email at all. Order Management still shows everything.
